3 Legged Thing has introduced the Arnie L-bracket, designed for a variety of recent Sony Alpha cameras, including the A7 IV, A7R V, A7R IV, A7R III, A7S III, A7S II, A9 II, and A1.

The Arnie L-bracket is precision-engineered from a single block of aerospace-grade magnesium alloy, providing excellent rigidity. It is available in two signature L-bracket colours: Copper and Darkness (matte black). The base features an integral QD (quick detach) port for use with QD accessories and a slot to attach camera straps. It also includes two 3/8”-16 screw threads with ¼”-20 adapters for attaching accessory arms. The front of the L-bracket has a contoured lip that perfectly forms around the base of the camera.

The side aspect of the Arnie L-bracket includes a cut-out at the top for the camera strap lug and another on the side for easier cable management when tethering. Like many of 3 Legged Thing’s dedicated L-brackets, Arnie is also compatible with the Peak Design Capture clip system. The L-bracket comes with a robust glass-reinforced nylon adapter.

“Arnie is built to provide exceptional stability and versatility for Sony Alpha users,” said a 3 Legged Thing spokesperson. “Its design ensures that it can handle the demands of professional photography, offering seamless integration with a range of accessories and mounting options.”

Arnie is available now, priced at £89.99 / US$99.99, from 3LeggedThing.com, as well as online and in stores from all good camera retailers. To find your nearest retailer, visit 3 Legged Thing’s Where to Buy page.
